Meals and conference dinner
This conference tries to follow the philosophy of sustainable events: you will receive a ticket for each of the meals to which you have signed up. If you do not plan to attend any of the meals, please return the ticket to the attendant so that the food will not be thrown away.
Dinner of the congress (6/27/2019)
Buses for dinner at the Saizar Cider House will leave at 20:00 next to the Church of Antigua (C. Mikeletes / C. Satrustegi) just opposite the west exit of the Miramar Palace Park, and will return to the same point around 23:00.
In the cider house, the menu is shared by 4 people, so that each person can decide if they want to eat meat and fish or only meat or only fish. There is the possibility of taking a vegan menu, for those who request it in advance.
The traditional menu consists of:
- txorizo pintxo (pork meet)
- cod omelette
- fried cod with green peppers and onions
- hake “cogote” or tail
- cow t-bone steak
dessert: cheese and quince jelly
Drinks: Cider, wine or bottled water. Barrel cider.
The dinner will be enlivened by the Beltrán trio of traditional music.
Museum of Traditional Music Soinuenea (25/6/2019)
The buses will depart at 7:00 pm next to the Church of Antigua (C. Mikeletes / C. Satrustegi) just opposite the west exit of the Miramar Palace Park, and they will return to the same point around 9:00 p.m.
There will be a guided tour in Spanish for 25 people and another in English for another 25 people.
Museum and Abbey of San Telmo (26/6/2019)
Since the museum is in the old part of Donostia, buses have not been hired. The museum closes at 20:00, therefore, those who have booked this visit should be at 19:00 sharp on the door of the museum located in Zuloaga Square.
The museum is about two kilometers from the Miramar Palace. It can be reached on foot in about 25 minutes. Buses 5, 16, 18, 25 stop at the Boulevard from where you have to walk 750m to Zuloaga Square.
In addition to visiting the aquarium, we can make a guided tour of the aquarium machinery that is usually not visible to visitors.
Since the Aquarium is in the fishing port of Donostia, buses have not been hired. Those who have reserved this visit should be at 19:30 sharp on the door of the Aquarium located at the end of the fishing port.
The Aquarium is about 2.3 km from the Miramar Palace. It can be reached on foot in about 25 minutes. Buses 5, 16, 18, 25 stop at the Boulevard from where you have to walk 1 km to the Zuloaga square.
